This page describes how to connect your LinkedIn to Heatseeker, so that you can run experiments on LinkedIn in a trusted way.

Choosing Your Workspace Admin

To set up the LinkedIn integration, your team needs to appoint a Workspace Admin for the Heatseeker platform. This should be someone from your company, ideally with existing access to your LinkedIn accounts or company assets.

The Workspace Admin will:

  • Set up and manage your team’s LinkedIn integration

  • Decide which LinkedIn assets are connected and shared with Heatseeker

  • Invite and manage members of your Heatseeker workspace

Share the Workspace Admin's email address with the Heatseeker team, so that they can be invited to the workspace.

Pro, Scale, and Enterprise Plans

These steps are all performed in your organization’s LinkedIn Business Manager. If you don’t yet have the right access in Business Manager, ask a team member with admin access to help with the setup.

Step 1: Add Heatseeker as a Partner

  1. Go to LinkedIn Business Manager

  2. Click Partners in the left menu

  3. Click Add Partner (upper-right)

  4. Enter Heatseeker’s Business Manager ID: 7234063642365714433

  5. Click Add Partner

Heatseeker will now appear in your Partners list.

Step 2: Share your LinkedIn Pages with Heatseeker

For any brands you want to run experiments under:

  1. In Partners, click Heatseeker

  2. Click Share Pages

  3. Select the Page(s) you want to use

  4. Click Assign Roles and enable:

    • Content Admin

    • Sponsored Content Poster

    • Lead Gen Forms Manager (only if you’re using lead gen ads)

  5. Click Share

Note: Ensure the Heatseeker Workspace Admin also has these permissions in your LinkedIn Business Manager.

Step 3: Share your LinkedIn Ad Accounts with Heatseeker

To run and track campaigns, share your Ad Account(s):

  1. In Partners, click Heatseeker

  2. Click Share Ad Accounts

  3. Select the Ad Account(s) you want to use

  4. Click Assign Roles and enable:

    • Campaign Manager (recommended), or

    • Account Manager

  5. Click Share

Note: Ensure the Heatseeker Workspace Admin is added directly to each Ad Account with Campaign Manager or Account Manager in LinkedIn Business Manager.

Step 4: Accept access to Heatseeker‑managed assets (media‑inclusive plans)

If you have a media‑inclusive plan, we’ll share one or more assets with you. This may include:

  • A Heatseeker‑managed Ad Account

  • Stealth Brand Pages (if included in your plan)

Once visible in LinkedIn Business Manager:

  1. Go to Ad Accounts (or Pages, if applicable)

  2. Find the shared asset(s) from Heatseeker

  3. Click Assign People

  4. Assign your Heatseeker Workspace Admin

  5. Enable Campaign Manager or Account Manager permissions (for Ad Accounts) and all available permissions for Pages

Step 5: Connect LinkedIn in Heatseeker

This step is done by the Workspace Admin.

  • Log into Heatseeker

  • Go to Settings → Integrations in the workspace dropdown

  • Click + Add LinkedIn

  • Follow the prompts to complete the connection

Self‑Serve Plans

You’re using your own LinkedIn Page and Ad Account. No partner setup required.

Connect LinkedIn in Heatseeker

  • Log into Heatseeker

  • Go to Settings → Integrations

  • Click + Add LinkedIn

  • Follow the prompts

You’re all set. Run experiments directly through your company’s LinkedIn setup, under your own Page and Ad Account.
