Clicks and impressions don’t tell you the whole story. They don’t reveal buyer intent or how reliable your results are.
Heatseeker goes deeper — measuring real buyer behavior and showing you:
Score: What’s working
Uplift: How much better it is
Confidence: How sure you can be
1. Buyer Engagement Score (“Score”)
Measures how much meaningful engagement your variants generate, weighted by intent.
High-intent actions like leads or sign-ups count more.
Lower-intent actions like casual clicks count less.
Example: A Score of 21 could mean 21 clicks per 1,000 impressions if clicks were the only action — but usually it’s a weighted mix of form opens, leads, and clicks.
💡 How to use it: A higher Score means stronger buyer interest. Use it to spot promising ideas quickly.
2. Uplift
Shows how much better or worse a variant performs compared to your baseline.
Positive uplift = outperforming
Negative uplift = underperforming
Default baseline = average score across all variants (can be changed).
Example: A +63% uplift means the variant is performing 63% better than the baseline.
💡 How to use it: Uplift tells you the size of the difference. Pair it with Confidence to see if that difference is real.
3. Confidence
Confidence tells you how sure we are that a variant’s uplift vs. the baseline is real — not just random noise.
We use clear labels so you can read it instantly:
Confidence Level | Meaning |
Stat Sig (90%+) | Almost certain the uplift is real. |
High (80–90%) | Likely real, but not yet statistically significant. |
Moderate (70–80%) | Directional — use with caution. |
Low (<70%) | Could be random noise. |
Real Example
Variant: “Same-day or next-day delivery guaranteed”
Metric | Result | Interpretation |
Score | 21 | Strong engagement |
Uplift | +63% | Strong outperformance vs. baseline |
Confidence | Stat Sig (94%) | Almost certainly a real winner |
✅ Bottom line: This message is a winner. More traffic could strengthen Confidence for smaller gaps between other variants.
Segments, Too
Score, Uplift, and Confidence apply not just to your variants but to any audience segment — region, age, job title, or custom groups — so you can make confident calls at every level.
