Every test in Heatseeker delivers real behavior data. Your selected result target shapes how precise and insight-rich those results are. Here’s a breakdown of what each option gives you, and when to use it.

1. Directional Ranking

What it is: A quick read on which variant is likely to perform best.

When to use it:

  • You need early signals to guide direction

  • You're exploring concepts or narrowing options

  • Speed and cost-efficiency matter most

2. High-Precision Ranking

What it is: A more confident ranking of all your variants.

When to use it:

  • You're aligning teams around a clear winner

  • You’re preparing to commit budget or resources

  • You want strong evidence without going too deep

3. Directional Demographics (Recommended)

What it is: A ranking of your variants plus insight into who’s responding and why.

When to use it:

  • You want to understand audience signals behind performance

  • You’re shaping messaging, positioning, or GTM strategy

  • You need both confidence and customer insight

4. High-Precision Demographics

What it is: A deep dive into which audience segments respond to each variant.

When to use it:

  • You’re making decisions tied to audience targeting or market entry

  • You need to validate messaging by segment before scaling

  • You’re optimizing for precision over speed or cost

Not sure which one to pick?

Start with Directional Demographics—it strikes the right balance between confidence and insight, and works for most strategic decisions.
