Ready to Launch Your Experiment on LinkedIn but running into issues? Check if you have everything set-up correctly by following the steps in this article.

1. Connect Your LinkedIn Account

Steps:

  1. Go to Integrations: Head to the user profile menu in the top right and select the "Integrations" tab.

  2. Connect: Click on the “Connect to LinkedIn” button and follow the prompts.

2. Access to Pages and Ad Accounts

Ensure you have the following page and account permissions for your LinkedIn account.

Campaign Manager Account Permissions:

  • Account Manager: Full control over the ad account, including managing campaigns, accessing billing information, and adding or removing users.

  • Campaign Manager: Can create and manage campaigns but does not have access to billing information or user management.

Page Permissions:

  • Super Admin: Full access to the LinkedIn Page, including managing other admins, creating and managing content, and accessing analytics.

  • Content Admin: Can create and manage content on the page but cannot manage other admins or access billing information.

3. Billing Requirements

To launch experiments, your ad accounts need to be set up with a valid payment method.

Valid Payment Method: Ensure that your LinkedIn ad account has a valid credit card or payment method set up with correct billing information.

5. Review the Target Audience

Before launching, review your target audience.

  • Audience: Define who you want to reach. Use the targeting options available to narrow down your audience.

  • Size: Aim for an audience of at least 50,000 for your experiment. Experiments will fail to publish for audience sizes of less than 1,000.

6. Be Mindful of Content Guidelines

Ensure compliance LinkedIn's advertising policies, which include guidelines on prohibited content, restricted content, and community standards.

7. Review and Launch

Review: Double-check your experiment, including the ad creatives, budget, and images. Ensure that all your ad variants have an image and a privacy-policy URL (in case of lead-generation forms).

Launch: Once everything looks good, hit the “Launch” button and watch your experiment go live!

And that's it! You’re ready to learn from real-user buying behavior. If you run into any hiccups or have questions, our support team is here to help. Happy experimenting! 🚀
